So basically, they've got nothing on him, but they can't admit defeat?

Is this good news or bad news?
We hope things are going well and turn out well for you oink.

Oink needs to get some good legal advice and file a complaint with the Independent police complaints commission (http://www.ipcc.gov.uk/)

The IFPI have basically persuaded the police to carry out a wrongful arrest. He has this hanging over him thanks to the false accusations of the IFPI and the possible illegal activities of the police. Suing the police for wrongful arrest would be one course of action.

Thanks for the updates. Based on the message earlier on oink.cd it sounds like the authorities really went after everything about Alan's online life.

I was hoping for a cooler update like "Oink legalizes piracy!" or "Oink liberated from Alcatraz by Pirate Bay task force!"

That's it? No details on the questioning? What are they looking into? What can we expect? What's going on? =(

Whoo new update!

Good, I think OiNK is going to get away with it. It would be sad if he were to take the fall for all of our downloading.

I imagine that they will be able to make something stick on him, not matter how minor the charge. From there on its a criminal record. I would put money on something relating to tax evasion or a conspiracy charge. Then there is the possibilities for civil suits (made all the easier after a successful prosecution) and the amount these c@nts will put on their fictitious damages is frightening to think about.

Bottom line is anyone who hosts these services is taking on an enormous personal risk, which is exactly what I said a few months before OiNK got taken down.

Like one of the other poster said, it's a real freaking shame that OINK is taking the down fail for thousands of users using the site DAILY to download and upload music. It would nuts if it was possible that we all showed up protesting outside of the court house of everyone went into the court room on his behalf.

Good luck Alan anyway!! The fact bails been extended twices bodes well...hopefully they'll just close the site down and that will be the end of it leading onto the creation of more copycat sites ala Napster. What the authorities dont understand is that they'll never stop music distribution on the Internet!! As I said get in touch if you get a chance.
