That certainly is a head-scratching move. Maybe they know something that I (and many of us) dont..
They haven't heard about Demonoid and the Canadian RAIA?
Let's hope the best for them!
A little bit pathetic posting news here about WHAT.CD. A lot of ex-oinkers (like me) did not manage to get an invite ...
Demonoid closed only because their ISP could not handle the heat from the CRIA. There was no legal action taken against them. It was their ISP that dropped them, not anyone else.By the way, they're using XerveCom as their host.http://www.xervecom.com
Is the site currently down for anyone else? Both the tracker and the site itself aren't responding for me :(
this blog lix
Thanks for the update.Ex-oinker lost too long without a proper palace to share/discover music.
What.cd still has more users than OiNK, but despite that they have less music and less seeding. What? Also, PRQ is not Canada-based. :)
IPs from what.cd's main site and tracker resolve to a datacenter in New Jersey, USA now.
pfft. Waffles is the shit I was a member to both sites, and I must say I much prefer Waffles... Sorry u guys but What.cd despite it's efforts is not nor will ever be Oink. However, Waffles has been consistent and to that I am glad to be regularly using member.
definately nothing is what oink was, is as if right now one of the old good trackers were to go down, youd be lost without that 'content' that the site has had for over many years.
gonna do a story about the recent increase in bail or oink's new project.
Canada = Americas BitchAll it will take is the flow of a few US dollars and their laws will change. I hope what.cd doesn't expect this to last long.
no updates in a year-and-a-half... i guess oink is truly dead forever.
lol@idiots that liked Waffles better than what. What now, biatches?
good post. Thanks..
I am curious about waffles.fm. I was an Oink Pink Palace member and I miss it. I liked that there were no movies and an emphasis on high-quality music. And the software and educational materials.I saw something that mentioned waffles.fm was started by Oink people and they would honor old Oink memberships. Is this true?
